Making A Difference: How G&M Gives Back and Supports EBS, KCM & BCM

At G&M Craftsman Cabinets we are passionate about supporting multiple charities where we can, whether they are local, national or global.

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much
— Helen Keller

So when our business coach from Entrepreneurial Business School shared with us the exceptional work that they are doing in Uganda to end child sacrifice, we had to do our part to support their two organisation’s.

Kyampisi Childcare Ministries works tirelessly to provide a safe haven for children who have been subjected to heinous crimes and rituals, such as human sacrifice, which tragically occurs in some parts of Uganda due to deeply rooted superstitions and beliefs.

The organisation's primary mission is to rescue these vulnerable children from dangerous situations, offer them counseling and support to heal from their traumatic experiences, and provide them with medical care, education, and shelter.

Additionally, the organisation focuses on community education and awareness programs to combat harmful superstitions and practices and create a safer environment for children. They work with local communities to promote child protection, advocate for children's rights, and provide training on child safeguarding.

Kyampisi Childcare Ministries' work extends to not only rescuing individual children but also working towards systemic change in society to prevent such horrific acts from occurring in the future.

Then their other organisation, Bridge Christian Ministries, based in Uganda is involved in various community development and social impact projects.

They focus on the following types of initiatives to help this horrific issue that is still happening in Uganda today.

  • Community Development: BCM Uganda likely engages in community development projects aimed at improving the overall well-being and quality of life of vulnerable communities. These projects may include initiatives related to education, healthcare, water and sanitation, vocational training, and economic empowerment.

  • Education Support: The organisation may provide support for education, including school sponsorship programs, provision of school supplies, and improving access to quality education for children in underserved areas.

  • Healthcare Initiatives: BCM Uganda might be involved in healthcare-related projects, such as medical outreaches, health education programs, and support for medical facilities in remote or disadvantaged regions.

  • Empowerment Programs: The organisation may implement empowerment programs aimed at empowering women, youth, and marginalized individuals, providing them with skills, resources, and opportunities to become self-sufficient.

  • Spiritual Support: As a Christian ministry, BCM Uganda is likely to incorporate spiritual support and religious activities as part of its mission, including prayer groups, counseling, and outreach programs.

  • Advocacy and Awareness: The organisation may engage in advocacy and awareness campaigns on various social issues, seeking to address root causes of problems faced by communities and raise awareness about specific challenges.

We are proud to say that so far, we have donated $20,000 and will continue to donate and spread awareness about this issue.

We also sponsor a young boy called Junior. With the help of Entrepreneurial Business School , Kyampisi Childcare Ministries and Bridge Christian Ministries we can all work together to help the children of Uganda.

We invite you to join this incredible journey of impact, where a business's heart and soul are interwoven with the dreams of young children who are still facing these atrocities. Witness how compassion can fuel progress and bring about a transformation that ripples through generations.
